New Anti-Ageing Discovery!

We are always being told, especially women, about the latest anti-ageing techniques on the market. Buy this cream or that potion that will reduce those lines and firm up muscle tone aren’t we?

And lot of us are often taken in by those sales and marketing ploys. But want to know a real anti-ageing technique?

Latest research by Noble prize winner Dr Elizabeth Blackburn and leading Well-being expert Deepak Chopra has proved that by incorporating meditation into your daily routine has huge benefits to the ageing process. You see when you quieten your mind you allow your body to relax and let go of tension and stress. This in turn helps the body to do its job efficiently allowing cell to repair and rejuvenate. In fact it has an enormous effect on your DNA.

Ongoing stress which most of us live with everyday has a huge impact on our bodies.

We have something called telomeres at the end of our DNA strands and as we age these atrophy and fray which inhibits the information that is sent around the body, thus causing the ageing process to begin.  Signs of inflammation and deterioration of muscle tone commence.

When you actively meditate, that is, dedicate time to sitting still, quietening the mind and relaxing, you allow the telomeres to re-knit themselves together allowing the information from your DNA to go to its target area.

Simple isn’t it? So do try to do some kind of relaxation and meditation even for a few moments building up to 10-20 minutes once or even twice a day and you are actually increasing you longevity and all those lines and muscle tone will benefit also.
