We all have a good idea of what makes us happy and what makes us unhappy. But do we always do the things that bring us happiness or in fact often do the opposite? Not good for your well-being for sure.
A good idea is to make list of those things you know make you happy like spending time with your loved ones, going on holiday, going for a walk in nature.
Now make a note of how much time you actually spend doing those things and see if it matches with the things you think make you happy.
Is there a difference? If there is then maybe you can start to think about how you can make some changes so they match your list of happiness. Only you are in charge of your happiness.
How you react to things and how you choose to spend your time is down to you. No one can force you to be happy or to be sad for that matter. You may not like their behaviour but how you respond to it is your decision. I know we all have knee jerk reactions to things but we can change and take control of our behaviour to bring about that feeling of happiness, or not.
