Spring has truly sprung in a big way… have you noticed? Are you taking some time out to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of spring?
The best thing is you don’t really have to do anything. Spring just throws itself at you. The vast array of blossom, colours and all the various flowers coming into bloom from forget-me-nots to the gorgeous roses just starting to appear are all over the country. You can’t really miss it can you!? Or can you? If you don’t stay aware of the beauty that reveals itself around you, you can easily miss it.
Even if you live and work in the city we are blessed in this country with lots of parks and trees around even in built up spaces.
So try to make it a habit to notice some of the beautiful displays of colour and greenery shooting up around us. Also notice whether by doing this it uplifts your feelings of well-being and puts you in a better mood, a better frame of mind as you make your journey through the day. And what about the birdsong? Do you notice that in the day? Studies have been showing how birdsong can help calm anxiety and depression. Simple little things like that can really make a difference in one’s life.
