Have you noticed how spring is bursting out all over? Yesterday was the spring equinox heralding that winter is definitely over!
Doesn’t the outburst of colour filling our gardens parks and open spaces fill you up with a sense of well-being?
The vibrancy of the yellows, purples and pinks are so welcoming after those grey months of January and February.
The warm rays of sunshine are a tonic to the soul after the cold, and promises of more to come as the weeks roll by into the first hints of summer.
Getting out into the warm sunshine surrounded by the beautiful abundant display of flowers and blossom given to us freely by Mother Nature is so good for your well-being. Especially if you been hiding under the blanket on the sofa in front of the TV for the last few months! Do you notice that when the sun is shining that strangers you meet in the street are so much more friendlier than when it’s dark and grey and everyone is rushing to get wherever it is they are going?
So it’s time to dust off those walking boots and trainers and go outside as often as possible. Even if you work in an office all day it’s great to get out for a walk in the evenings as our daylight gets extended. Fresh air and gentle walking exercises the joints and the mind!
