Write it out to let it go.

Another way of releasing tension if you are angry is to write it down.  Write out why you are angry and with whom or what circumstance that triggered it.

Why do you feel angry? What happened? Notice what is coming up for you. Was there something else you were already upset about and this last interaction or circumstance you found yourself in was the “straw that broke the camel’s back?”

By writing it down you allow the pent up frustrations to come up without having to shout at anyone or walk around with it for days, keeping you in a bad mood

Writing it down can also give you clarity about why you got angry in the first place.

Try it out and see if it helps you resolve the issue or at least help you to feel better. Remember to give yourself a pat on the back for trying something new.
