When things are bothering you the easiest thing is to let it go. No amount of worrying, soul searching, talking about it with yourself in your internal dialogue, or to others will really and truly help you resolve it.
Only when you chose to let it go can you reach a place of inner peace and calm.
You might be thinking this is easier said than done!
Try this: Simply breathe in ‘Let’ and breath out ‘Go’. You don’t even have to be sitting still to do this or specifically do it when meditating.
You can do it whilst you are out walking or doing the shopping or when something uncomfortable pops into your mind. Just keep repeating ‘Let Go’ to yourself and breathe a bit more deeply as you do it. Watch your body start to relax and let go.
Notice if it’s easy or hard to do this. Whichever way keep on doing it and make a note of the results.
Again congratulate yourself that you are trying. It helps you to feel more in control in the long run and may make you feel lighter and brighter.
